Niall Aslam was a contestant on the 2018 series of Love Island (ITV) on which he won over the hearts of the nation with his quirky personality and unique sense of humour. Niall had to leave the show for personal reasons but he later took to social media to talk about his diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome. He also revealed that he was taken into psychiatric care with stress induced psychosis which he now talks openly about in order to raise awareness of mental health conditions. Niall is an ambassador for the National Autistic Society and has also collaborated with various brands such as River Island on advertising campaigns. Niall ventured back into the world of reality tv when he completed Ex On The Beach: Peak Of Love (MTV) to prove to himself that he wasn’t going to let his problems get the better of him. Niall has also appeared on BBC Three’s social media review series, Sh*t Happened, and was interviewed on Loose Women (ITV).
